Wine Not Visit Napa Valley?

At some point in life, we’ve all been overwhelmed, but then there are those times when it’s actually a good overwhelming feeling. Like having over 400 wineries to choose from when visiting the beautiful Napa Valley. The vineyards in wine country have breathtaking views and the best-of-the-best wine that is hard to put down. Whether you’re in Napa for a week or just a weekend, you can’t leave without visiting the 13th-century-style castle that is Castello di Amorosa. While it looks like it was built centuries ago, it’s surprisingly new and opened just 12 years ago.

Wine lovers can choose between general admission & wine tasting which gives limited access to roam the property or you can select the guided tours & tasting which is the best bang for your buck. With the guided tours, guests are able to see the entire estate and learn about the history along the way. And the best part about going down into the cellar, is not just getting to see all of the barrels, but actually getting to taste wine right out of one.

After the tour ends, you get to taste from a wide selection of Castello’s wines along with some pretzel like snacks to munch on in between sips. And if you fall in love with any of the wines (which you totally will), the tour guide will offer a discount if you place an order while you’re there. It’s one of those things that’s hard to resist, because wine not?

While Castello di Amorosa is at the top of the list for wineries to visit in Napa, there’s two more that you have to know about:

Cakebread Cellars and Stag’s Leap.

Cakebread’s tour and tasting is a more short, sweet and to the point kind of tour because the property is not as large as Castello, but it’s still a beautiful place to see. And you get to walk and sip throughout the tour. Who wouldn’t want that? After the brief tour, the rest of the time is spent sitting in a relaxing patio style area to finish off the tasting and place orders on any wines guests want to order.

Now to Stag’s Leap, which is a must-see for its views. Out of the three wineries, Stag’s Leap by far has the best views in such a relaxing setting. The story behind the winery is really interesting and the property is so stunning it’ll be hard for you to leave.
