The corner of Virginia and Highland avenues found its missing piece with the opening of indie bookstore Virginia Highland Books. The Virginia Highland neighborhood is known for its unique and quirky boutique shops, restaurants, and cafes. The one thing missing was a bookstore, and now they have it.

There’s something special about getting lost in a good book. Page after page, losing track of time when a book is too good to put down. It’s reminiscent of being a kid, and this independently owned bookstore gives you that feeling. When you first walk in there’s a table with staff recommendations and hand written notes attached. You can find the hand crafted notes all throughout the store, which adds a personalized touch as you explore the two-level bookstore.
