Thai Food Too Good Not to Share
Thai food is one of those cuisines that you can never get enough of. Who doesn’t love noodles, rice (especially fried) and spring rolls? It’s the perfect food to indulge in whether it’s take-out and you’re eating on the couch or dining in on the weekend. If you’re not an avid Thai foodie, you’ll at least be interested in trying some by the time you get through this post.
Atlanta’s Tuk Tuk Thai Loft deserves all the five-star reviews. The ambiance makes you feel immersed into Thai culture from the moment you step inside. Tuk Tuk Thai Loft was named after the common transportation used in Thailand, a tuk tuk, which is the first thing you’ll see once inside. An elevator will then take you up to the dining area where delicious food awaits.
Not only is the vibe just right, but they actually follow social distancing unlike most restaurants who pack customers in like sardines. There’s at least one open table in between parties which gives some extra piece of mind while dining indoors. They also have an outdoor seating area with a beautiful view of the city skyline.
The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. And the food and drinks— oh my goodness. Here’s what I highly recommend:
Drink: Mango Mai Thai
Appetizers: Kanom Jeeb (chicken & shrimp dumplings) & Thai Samosa (similar to spring rolls)
Entree: Pad Zee U
Located in midtown on Peachtree Road across from the Peachtree Amtrak station, you’ve probably passed it at some point driving around the city. Give it a try next time you’re in the mood for some bomb Thai food.
